Props from Fine Gardening

"Wings and waterfalls are not the only things putting Buffalo on the map these days. Neighborhood gardens are now drawing green thumbs from across the country."

Last year, Fine Gardening's Assistant Editor, Kerry Ann Moore, visited Garden Walk Buffalo, camera in hand (and a drink in the other). Don't worry, she didn't get out of hand, her boss was with her. This year, she writes a quick note about the tour in this month's issue of Fine Gardening.

She writes, "Maybe there's some truth to the saying, "The best things in life are free," because the tour, the map, the shuttle bus and limitless garden advice was -- and will continue to be -- free."

Kerry Ann goes on to mention taking advantage of lemonade entrepreneurs and garden parties lasting late into the evening. I could not have written a better "plug" for the Walk -- and god knows I've tried. For the rest of the story, you'll have to pick up a copy of the magazine.

  1. Jim, It was a good article. I was finally able to get my hands on another publication you shared with us a few months back...Backyard Gardens was chock full of beautiful Buffalo gardens.
