  1. I loved this video. Thanks, for putting this professionally, gorgeously made video on your blog. Buffalo does matter, in all the structures, landscapes, culture, art, businesses, and mostly, the people. Nice sentiment and deep love of community along side the marketing aspect for the place.

  2. Buffalo stirs my heart strings because I know my father was born there, despite leaving soon after, but also because I feel it has a deep connection to Chicago as a 'place.'
I love visiting your blog, Jim, for posts like this one,
    and for its breadth.

p.s. I'm still over at Bay Area Tendrils but these days often found at Alice's Garden Travel Buzz. Where are you traveling next;~D

  3. GWGT/Donna,
Pretty slick, huh? The Convention & Visitors Bureau is working on a gardening video along these lines for next summer. Can you imagine that? They might be the first CVB in the country to feature gardening as a tourism feature. It'll be the same filmmaker & may feature some well-known garden bloggers.

    Alice Joyce,
Thanks for the visit & compliments. Next big trip? Not sure that's exactly planned. I've been plugging for Costa Rica. We have friends in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, that make a compelling case for a visit. My wife, who visits Europe once a week, is campaigning for Europe (possibly Greece). My daughter is campaigning for a cruise. SHE will will not win.

  4. My niece posted this on her blog, Rust Wire, and it was so great I put it on my FB page. What a stunning production; great talking heads and all my favorite buildings made a cameo. A garden video along these lines definitely makes sense.

  5. Linda,
I've read that blog in the past. Is it Angie that is your niece? This is a very well-done video promo. I can't tell you how excited I am that they'll be producing a gardening version.
