Hearts in the Gardens Posters for sale!
I have 25 Hearts posters left -- if you'd like one, you can purchase one though Paypal in the right hand column, at the top. Partial proceeds will benefit the National Garden Festival. If you order one, I'll get it sent out to you the week of February 27. Around 250 people showed up the Hearts in the Gardens fundraising party for the Festival, held at the Buffalo & Erie County Botanical Gardens during their NIGHT LIGHTS at the Gardens display. Larkin Development Group was the sponsor for the evening, and volunteers had rounded up great garden items for a Silent Auction (everything from a gas grill, to a signed Buffalo Bills football, to a wheelbarrow full of garden goodies from Urban Roots Community Garden Center, to a garden consultation by Master Gardener (and columnist and TV garden personality) Sally Cunningham CNLP. And the raffled baskets? Everything from ceramics to original art to hotel overnights.

It was a pleasure to meet you last night, if ever so brief. It was a nice event. There were lots of people! It'll be a day or more before we find out how successful it was as a fundraiser. Keep your fingers crossed for us.
