It's Garden Walk Buffalo weeknd!

I don't really have time to post. Got to get out and put up shuttle bus signs. We have five FREE shuttle buses for the FREE Garden Walk Buffalo. I was in my own garden for a good chunk of the day, after spending my morning visiting the three headquarters located around the city. The crowds. I'm told, seemed just under normal. In my garden it got off to a slow start, but at times there were 40-50 people in the yard. Then I got to visit a few gardens. Here's just a small smattering of what I saw. More adventures today.

  1. Jim,
Kevin and I scooted around yesterday and saw some of the many wonderful gardens - truly a lovely experience - will definitely be back next year. Now, if you could only work on an express lane on the Peace Bridge. The 1hour40 minutes wait has convinced us that we're just going to stay over and do it properly next year. Also, for those who have never been, not only are the tour gardens lovely - most of the neighbour homes have been gussied up as well, making the stroll up and down all the streets a real treat. Well done Buffalo!

  3. Nice finds Jim on those first two creations. I missed them. I did find Saturday a bit slow, especially in the morning. It did turn out a nice day though.

  5. BarbaraPC,
Sorry about the Peace Bridge! One of my favorite aspects of the Walk is non-Garden Walk folks cleaning up and making everything look good for the visitors.

    Janet,
    We're impressed too!

    Donna,
Saturday was VERY slow in the morning. Weather report suggested isolated t-storms, so I'm sure that scared many away.
